Lucknow: The death toll in the stampede (Hathras Stampede) after the satsang in Hathras district has increased. So far 123 people have died. These include 113 women, 7 children and 3 men. At the same time, even after 48 hours of the accident, the police have not been able to reach Narayan Sarkar Hari alias Bhole Baba. The police have raided eight places including Mainpuri, Gwalior, Kanpur and Hathras.

CM Yogi formed a commission for investigation

At the same time, the Yogi government has formed a judicial commission to investigate this accident. It will be chaired by retired judge of Allahabad High Court Justice Brijesh Kumar Srivastava. Retired IAS Hemant Rao and retired DG Bhavesh Kumar Singh are members of the commission. The team will complete the investigation in 2 months and submit the report to the government. They will also give suggestions to prevent such incidents in future.

Baba said – anti-social elements caused the stampede

On the other hand, Baba has appointed AP Singh as his lawyer. AP Singh is a Supreme Court lawyer. Bhole Baba issued a written statement through AP Singh and clarified that after I left the gathering, anti-social elements caused a stampede. I will take legal action against these people. I wish for the injured to recover.

Chief Minister Yogi said – this accident is like a conspiracy

CM Yogi said on Wednesday that this accident is like a conspiracy. People kept dying, the sevadars ran away from there. They neither informed the administration nor helped. When the administration team arrived, the sevadars did not let them go ahead. We also organized big events like Kumbh, but such things did not happen. Whoever is guilty, they will not be spared. According to the information received, an FIR has been lodged against 22 organisers except Baba in this case.
